Bipolar Warning…Do You Know This?

=>PLEASE FORWARD TO FRIENDS, FAMILY AND LOVED ONES<=

Hi ,

How's it going?

Hope you are doing well.

Hey, someone just wrote me asking me if
this "natural" supplement is okay with
bipolar disorder.

I said I don't know, and to check with their
doctor.

She wrote back and said "Hey, it's natural,
it must be okay."

I called her on the phone and pleaded with
her to check with her doctor.

I told her how natural supplements can
cause unnatural and unexpected problems.

SOMEtimes SOME of them work well,
but it's not worth taking the risk without
first finding out the facts.

It is much better to contact your doctor
and find out what they know about the
natural remedy first.

They may know things about it that will
let you know it's okay.

Or they may know things about it that will
let you know that you probably shouldn't
be taking it.

Either way, at least at that point you know.

There's also the possibility that, depending
on which natural remedy it is, your doctor
may not know much about it.

The next step at that point would be to
contact your local licensed pharmacist.

Sometimes they will know more about
those sorts of things then the doctors do.

They will also know whether it is likely
to interact with your bipolar medications.

But then, with some of the rarer
supplements, it is possible that neither your
doctor nor pharmacist will know anything
about it.

If that is the case, then don't take it.

It's kind of like this company I had heard
of once.

This company would pay people a small
amount of money to test out their
cosmetic products.

What they were testing for is whether it
would end up common for people to have
bad side effects from them.

These were products that weren't on the
market yet, and weren't approved by
anyone yet.

Some people ended up with horrible rashes
from these products.

Some people ended up having other bad
side effects from them.

And all this, for a little bit of money.

You couldn't pay me all the money in the
world to do that job.

Would you like to be a "guinea pig," so
to speak, like that?

If you answered no (which I hope you did),
then why would you want to test a
supplement that is probably also not
approved by anyone, and not even get
paid for it?!

This seems like a horrible solution to a
already horrible problem.

Even if the supplement is FDA approved,
I seriously doubt you will find one that
is FDA approved to be used for bipolar
disorder.

Even if I'm wrong, they are just like
medications, and should still be taken
under a doctor's care.

This is your health on the line, here.

It's not worth taking that big of a risk
without at least knowing what you are
getting yourself into.

There is never any way of knowing for
sure how each person will react to
something.

But your doctor (or pharmacist) can tell
you what sorts of reactions people have
had in the past, and what to watch out for.

They can also tell you the chances of it
working for what you want it to work
for.

If there isn't very high of a chance, then
it's not worth it.

If there is, then you can discuss with your
doctor from there whether the risks are
worth the potential help it could give you.

But please, please, talk to a doctor before
you decide to take any sort of medicine,
supplement, or herb, regardless of whether
it's natural or not.
