If you need help explaining borderline personality, and you
are having problems don't do this.
What's this?
It's to get frustrated with people who doesn't understand
the disorder and simply give up trying to explain
it.
I really urge you to not just give up. If you do then
those around won't understand the disorder
and more problems are created.
Lack of understanding makes borderline worse
for supporters and those with it. Period.
I know it can be frustrating. It was very frustrating
to explain it to my brother. At first my brother made
jokes and laughed. He thought it was funny. It was annoying.
Eventually he did understand and stop making
jokes. It took time. I gave him one of my
explanation booklets. Actually the booklet
was designed for him and then I offered
it to people on my list.
