You know, our society has turned
into an "instant" one -

Everything we want we can get
instantly.

Credit cards have taken the place
of layaway, where you had to wait
to get your purchase until you were
done paying for it.

Credit cards allow us to make
major purchases instantly.

Want to talk to your Mom all the
way in Florida?

You can do it instantly, and even
f.ree in most cases!

Want a new car?

Just sign here for instant financing,
and you can drive it off the lot!

Want a new house?

Same thing. Sometimes with just
little or no money down!

Even our food is instant -

Fast food restaurants far exceed
"regular" (slow) restaurants when
you're hungry.

If you're hungry, just get your food
instantly!

We don't like to wait in lines.

We don't like to wait for purchases
until we've got the money.

We don't like to wait at all,
whether it's for our fast food or
our new car or home.

It's a big problem in our society.

What about real problems, though?

Like a problem with self-esteem?

you raise your self-esteem, whether
you have borderline personality
disorder or are supporting someone

This method will actually work for
anyone who is struggling in this

All you need is a timer...

A pen...

A journal...

And one minute of your time!

Ok, here it is...







First thing in the morning,
set your timer for one minute...

Then take your pen and journal,
and write positive things about
yourself -

Just brainstorm, and write down
as many things as you can think of
before the timer goes off!

You can even combine this
activity with something else you
enjoy, like your first cup of
coffee...

Or sitting outside in the sunshine
(if it's not snowing where you are).

Well, results may not happen
instantly (or as quickly as you
want)...

But sometimes they do!

What exercising is to the body
is what journaling in this way can
be for your spirit and emotional
health and well-being.

Before you look around, you will
be thinking positively, and not
only your mood will be better as
your attitude improves...

But your self-esteem will be better
as well!

In just one minute a day!
